Despite the ball possessions by the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Bukina Faso was able to manuovre its way into their net in the 24th minutes of the First Half.
Bukina Faso slotted their second goal in the 43rd with a cross from the right flank that seemed to have gone into a corner but the Referee later confirmed it to be a goal making it 2-0 against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
