Breaking: IPOB militants set bus ablaze over sit-at-home order in Enugu

 Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday set ablaze a bus transporting tomatoes, vegetables and other foodstuffs to Enugu, for allegedly violating its suspended sit-at-home order.

This came as frightened residents have continued to stay at home in some parts of the Southeast, defying even the orders of IPOB leadership who had severally but unsuccessfully tried to stop the exercise.

It was  learnt that the vehicle was burnt at Edem junction, Ibeagwa, Nike, in the Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State around 5:45 am on Monday.

The vehicle was reportedly coming from the Ugwogo end of the Opi/Enugu bypass when it was blocked and set on fire.
