THE Presidency has cleared the air on a wild rumour on social media that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume has resigned his appointment.

In a short Press Release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga said the news flying around was a fake news.

There has been no change in the status of His Excellency, Senator George Akume, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
