#ENDSARS protests, farmer cry out for government assistance over farm products destroyed in transit

Agro allied farmer who is the Chairman of Dominion Farms, Mr Akingboye Igbekele Jacob has cried our to Osun State Government and the Federal Government to come to his aid having lost all his farm products were to the curfew declared in Osun and Lagos.

He spoke with SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS, http://www.sojworldnews.com  about his ordeal,

“I lost some money to the protest after my vehicle was not allowed to get into Lagos.”

I transported Chill Pepper to Lagos but the road was blocked at Mowe for two days in which all products got spoilt.”

30 sacks of Chili Pepper meant to be supplied to Lagos on October 21, 2020 which driver couldn’t get across to Lagos from Mowe.

After two days of being hooked up in holdup, we were only able to retrieve 20kg out of 300kg Chill Pepper bagged to Lagos for sale. This was aside from other perishable  farm products that got spoilt along the way.”

Mr. Akingboye is in sad mood as a result of his colossal loss to the upheaval in the country.

He has lost hundreds of thousands of Naira aftermath of the protests.

In spite of the loss he suffered, Akingboye sympathized with the families of those who suffered human loss in the mayhem. He sent his condolences.

He prayed for a better Nigeria but said he was ashamed even at this stage of our democracy in Nigeria our leaders cannot  cater for needs of the masses.

He also spoke on the lack of electricity supply for over a decade in four Local Government Area in Ondo State South Senatorial District including his hometown in Okitipupa.
