
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of shortlisted candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) recruitment exercise. As a result, applicants can now check their names and prepare for the next stage of the selection process.
According to an official statement issued by the Nigerian Air Force, all applicants who participated in the DSSC recruitment should immediately visit the recruitment portal to confirm their status and obtain details of their aptitude test centres.
Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to check the official list through the recruitment portal and follow the instructions provided.

The Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed that shortlisted candidates must report for the zonal general aptitude test at designated centres.
“Eligible applicants are to report for the zonal general aptitude test at the centres indicated against their names on the portal,” the statement said.
Furthermore, the Nigerian Air Force explained that the Direct Short Service Commission is designed to recruit qualified professionals and degree holders into the service as commissioned officers.
After selection, successful candidates will undergo intensive military training for several months before they receive full commissioning into the Nigerian Air Force.
Meanwhile, the Force urged applicants to strictly follow all guidelines and instructions on the portal. In addition, candidates must report on the scheduled dates to avoid disqualification.
NAF also emphasized that the recruitment process remains transparent and merit-based. Therefore, only qualified and disciplined candidates will proceed to the final stage.
Moreover, the DSSC recruitment forms part of the Air Force’s broader plan to strengthen manpower in critical sectors such as engineering, medical services, aviation support, logistics, and information technology.
