Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani has added his own sense of humour to the increase of hate speech penalty from N500,000 to N5 million as alternative to oil revenue.

Senator Sani made the comment on his Official Twitter handle on Wednesday,
“With N5 million as fine for hate speech,we have discovered an alternative to oil revenue.”
What this means is that the revenue that will accrue to government purse will be as high as alternative to what Nigeria is realising from crude oil which is our major source of income.
