Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Ajibola Basiru (SRJ) has declared in a Press Conference he had with the newsmen in his office in Osogbo on Monday, January 31, 2022h that he is with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) where his loyalty lies.

SRJ, as he is fondly called by his supporters did not mince words when he said he has preference for the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola whom he said he will support and ensure he wins the February 19, 2022 primart election and ultimately the governorship elections in July 16, 2022.
The Senator who is also the Spokesperson of the Senate said,
“So if there is anybody, or group that wants to challenge Governor Oyetola, they should come to the primary and challenge the government, but as for me I don’t hide my preference”.
“My preference is Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, he is the flag bearer of our party, and we have to secure the mandate of our party in the February 19 primary election and ultimately to work assiduously and ensure his success in the July 16 2022 governorship election.

And we are ready that he succeed in a free and fair contest at the election, –
He went further that all his electoral promises have been fulfilled and and completed except one which is at its advanced stage.
Senator Ajibola said he was saddled with the responsibility, as the Spokesperson of the Senate in his first year he assumed office, the image of the Upper Chamber have been well protected and their programs are well articulated.
