IGBOHO Aide, LADY K speaks on her horrible ordeal with DSS, how she was arrested, beaten, tortured, threatened (MAN INHUMANITY TO MAN)

Ms Oluwakemi IfeOluwa popularly known as LADY K, a Blogger, is one of the female aides of Sunday Igboho who was arrested by a combined team of military men numbering over 100 who attacked the residence of Igboho on July 1, 2021 at Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

LADY K was arrested with other 11 aides of Igboho into the DSS Custody in Abuja before she was  released after spending 114 days under inhuman treatment.

She came out for the first time to speak about her horrible ordeal from the days she was arrested till when she was released with the assistance of her Lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi Esq.

She said she was a single mother of two sons who became a blogger when she discovered the injustices going on against vulnerable youths in the country especially the killings of defenceless youths at Lekki in October 2021.

According to LADY K, she was already asleep in her room when she was woken up by bombardments of live bullets directed in their direction. She said when she peeped through the window she saw over 100 soldiers, DSS and other security agents. She decided to go on live program on Facebook to alert the world about the atrocities going on at Igboho house.

“When the shooting was so intense I hide myself in a room when they came for me. I have already made up my mind that it would be my last day, I opened the door to surrender myself.  I was beaten mercilessly with objects to the extent that I could not walk normally till today.

Others were equally beaten before we were taken to Abuja DSS Custody.

I was locked up in a room for 114 days with different kinds of tortures. I was fed with rice and beans that are not done, I was given chemical to drink.  They threatened to either kill me or send me to jail.

When I asked them what was my offence, they said but for my live exposure of their invasion no one would have known that they came for Sunday Igboho.

They said for me to expose them on live stream on Social Media, they have two options, it is either they kill me or send me to jail.

They told me, “You truncate our mission, you are the one who alerted the world of our raid at Igboho house.”

The threat was so intense to the extent that I started crying telling them to spare my life to take care of my two kids and my aged mother.

But for people who clamoured for our release only God knows what would have happened to me. Since I was released from the dungeon of the DSS my health has been deteriorating due to the ill-treatment I suffered from the chemical I was forced to drink.”
