
A 400-level Business Education student of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Idris Aremu Agboluaje, has died in a road accident while rushing to sit for his first semester final-year examination.
According to eyewitnesses said the student was initially denied entry into the examination hall for failing to present his student identity card.
Agboluaje reportedly sped back towards the school gate to retrieve the card in a bid to meet up with the examination but was involved in a fatal accident.

Reacting to the incident, the Association of Business Educators of Nigeria (ABEN), KWASU chapter, expressed deep sorrow over his death, describing it as a painful loss to the department.
“Our hearts go out to his parents, family members, friends, and classmates during this difficult time,” the association said in a statement.
Meanwhile, The Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has confirmed the death of a 400-level student, Idris Agboluaje, in an auto crash in Malete on Wednesday.
