THE wife of former Federal House of Representatives member representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Osun State, Hon Gafar Amere, Mrs. Foluke Akintayo Amere is dead.
Her death was announced by her husband on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
She was said to have died on Sunday morning after a brief illness at the age of 59.
According to Hon. Amere, Mrs Amere, she will be buried on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 4pm with a farewell Church Service to be anchored by Pastor (Dr) Adejum of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG at Hon. Amere’s residence at 1, Amere Crescent, Ori Eru Iwo, Iwo, Osun State.
Interment will follow immediately at CAN Cemetery along Oyo Road, Opposite College of Education, Iwo.
She survived by her aged father, three children (two boys and a girl).
