Their spokesman whose name was not known spoke through a megaphone used in front of the Head Office,

“We want to appreciate the police for maintaining peace, we are not here to destroy any property, we are not here to fight but we are here to express our displeasure over the management of Fidelity Bank not showing a human face to what they are doing to workers.

They just sack workers without recourse to what they supposed to do. They wave workers they say go away without giving them a kobo.”

“We are here this morning, not because of the people they have sacked but because of the people that are still working, it is the same way they sack them they are going to sack you. We are here because of you, we are fighting because of you…Enough is enough. No pay no work”
