FORMER aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at Nigerians Christians especially its leaders. Omokri may have made its comments in relations to the political turmoils on who becomes the President of Nigeria in the past weeks.
Omokri who is also a Pastor said his Christian brothers and sisters are not tolerant like their Muslim counterpart. He wondered if Peter OBI had won the Presidency and Muslims resorted to say what Christians are saying, he said, the country will be on fire.
“The #NigerianElections2023 made me realize that Nigerian Muslims are often more tolerant than Nigerian Christians. Because if Obi had been declared President-elect by INEC and imams start saying the types of things some pastors are saying, Nigeria will be on fire!”
“‘I am not sure it is right for pastors to preach politics from the pulpit. We already see the damage #NigerianElections2023 did to the Christian bloc vote in that 1 major Christian candidate lost out amidst 3 strong Muslims. Preach only salvation from the pulpit.”
