In a decisive demonstration of unity and forward-thinking leadership, key stakeholders from the Obokun and Oriade Federal Constituency—including politicians, artisans, spiritual leaders, students, and youth groups—are set to convene to formally endorse Hon. Wole Oke as the next Senator representing Osun East.

This collective decision comes in response to the incumbent Senator’s heartfelt advice encouraging the youth to step into leadership roles. Senator Fadahunsi, who will be concluding his second term in office at the age of 80, has expressed his desire for a new generation of leaders to take the mantle and drive the region’s development forward.

While Hon. Wole Oke is yet to formally throw his hat into the ring, it is noteworthy that the youths who have been under his tutelage—his mentees who are eager to succeed him and are actively behind this move.
