Ondo cult violence – Residents of an Ondo community have raised fresh alarm over rising cult violence, youth unrest and political manipulation threatening peace and security in the area.

The community warned that the situation is becoming dangerous. They called on the government and security agencies to act quickly.

Community leaders said cult activities are returning to the area. As a result, tension is rising among residents.

Stakeholders also raised concern about political manipulation. According to them, some youths are being recruited for violent activities.

In addition, community members linked the problem to unemployment and lack of opportunities. They said idle youths are easy targets for recruitment into cult groups.

Call For Government And Security Intervention

The community urged security agencies to increase surveillance in the area. They also called for stronger intelligence gathering.

According to them, cult groups must be dismantled to restore peace.

They also asked the Ondo State Government to prevent politicians from using youths for violence.
