Pastor Adeboye breaks silence says “restructure or breakup!”

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has broken his many years of silence on what could make Nigeria to unite.

In an interview with The PUNCH, Adeboye said Nigeria should adopt its own system of government with the President and Prime Minister with different functions while the state will have the governor and premier with different functions as well.

He called for recognition to all our traditional rulers and religious leaders in a new dispensation to be known as United States of Nigeria.

He also lent his voice to those agitating for restructuring as a condition without which Nigeria would breakup.

“Without any doubt we must restructure and do it as soon as possible. A United States of Nigeria is likely to survive much more than our present structure.”
