POLICE Reacts To Alleged Assassination Attempts On The Life Of Lt. Ahmed Yerima

THE Nigeria Police Command, FCT, Abuja has officially reacted to the viral report of assassination attempt on the life of Lt. Ahmed Yerima.

In a Press Release by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO SP Josephine Adeh monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, said the alleged incident was not reported anywhere at the Federal Capital Territory.

She added that the report was false and should be disregarded.

“The attention of the FCT Police Command has been drawn to publications circulating on social media alleging an attempted assassination on Lt. Ahmed Yerima.

The Command wishes to categorically state that no such incident has been reported or recorded anywhere within the Federal Capital Territory.

The public is advised to disregard this false information and desist from spreading unverified claims capable of causing unnecessary panic.

It will be recalled that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and Lt. Ahmed Yerima over a land dispute.
