NIGERIA’S Women’s National Team captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has paid a special visit to Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) in Lagos.
During the church’s monthly Power Must Change Hands programme, Ajibade presented her WAFCON 2024 medal and awards to the church’s founder, Pastor Daniel Olukoya, and his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Shade Olukoya.
A Symbolic Gesture
Ajibade’s gesture was a mark of gratitude and spiritual tribute, as she handed over her accolades, including a Woman of the Match trophy, alongside a personalized Super Falcons jersey with “OLUKOYA 01” printed on it. Pastor Olukoya celebrated the moment on Instagram, praising God’s faithfulness in Ajibade’s life.
A Proud Product of MFM
Ajibade, a proud product of MFM’s football outreach, played for the church’s MFM FC Women’s team before moving to Europe.
Her strong Christian faith and public show of gratitude to her spiritual roots have earned her admiration.
Ajibade’s visit came after Nigeria’s triumphant run at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where she played a critical role in the competition.

A Testimony of Faith
Ajibade’s visit and tribute serve as a testimony of her faith and gratitude to God. She encouraged the congregation, sharing her personal story of overcoming challenges and rising to success through faith and hard work.
“I could remember this very little girl here, I was once that little girl hawking Olive Oil, hawking Zobo, hawking ‘Kunu’ in every Deliverance Programme. But today, I give Glory to God because God of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries is still in the business of lifting men.”
