TENNIS Star, Venus Williams has been announced as the Global Brand Ambassador of Lacoste.

Venus Williams’ role will be instrumental as the company plans to develop innovative and modern clothing geared toward women.

Venus Williams, who has been a long-time fan of the brand’s creative director Louise Trotter, will have a chance to combine her love for sports with their shared interest in fashion.

“I am a long-time fan of Lacoste and have always been inspired by the brand’s innovative style, beyond its tennis roots.

Venus Will Support Lacoste Foundation
As Lacoste works to place equality at the forefront, Venus Williams will work alongside them to achieve this feat by supporting the Lacoste Foundation.

Created in 2006, the foundation provides skill mentoring, financial, and moral support to create social and professional opportunities for the youths and those with disabilities. Per the company’s website, it has improved the lives of over 100,000 youths and those with disabilities in over 22 countries.
