There has been battle of wits between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Republic of Benin on one side, Lawyers and other Yoruba agitators to either seek asylum for Sunday Igboho in United kingdom or to extradite him to Nigeria to face charges preferred against him.

In the latest scheming, SOJ WORLDWIDE, http://www.sojworldnews.com it is either Igboho is brought to Nigeria or travel to UK to seek asylum.
Unconfirmed report had it that the former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Tukur Buratai now an Ambassador to Republic of Benin is scheming to get Igboho back to Nigeria.
