Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to Pastor Chris Okafor’s public response to allegations linked to a viral phone recording earlier shared online.

The controversy erupted after VDM posted an audio recording in which a woman claimed to be Pastor Okafor’s biological daughter and accused him of neglect and mistreatment. The recording quickly went viral, triggering intense debate across social media platforms.

In response, Pastor Okafor addressed the issue during a church service where he invited one of his daughters to the altar. The young woman publicly denied the allegations, stating that her father had never abused or mistreated her. The video from the service was widely shared online and presented by supporters as proof of the pastor’s innocence.

However, reacting shortly after, VDM dismissed the move, insisting that the girl presented in church was not the same individual mentioned in the original recording. According to him, the woman he spoke with is older, from a different mother, and remains willing to undergo a DNA test to confirm her claims.

VDM further stated that emotional displays in church do not replace factual verification, emphasizing that only an independent investigation and DNA testing can settle the matter conclusively.

The incident has continued to polarize public opinion, with supporters of the pastor praising his openness, while critics argue that serious allegations should be addressed through legal and scientific means rather than public appearances.

As the controversy continues to unfold, Nigerians remain divided, awaiting further evidence or legal action from either party.
