We failed you, Gov Makinde admits failure over Igangan massacre

Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has admitted his government’s failure to protect the residents of Igangan against the massacres by suspected killer herders on Sunday, June 6, 2021.

Makinde admitted failure at Igangan when he was addressing the mammoth crowd in Igangan in the Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State.

” I failed you because I am the one responsible for not protecting you, and from now on, there my government will be responsible for the needs of the Amotekuns, the Vigilantes and the Local hunters.”

He urged the residents not to take the law into their hands and promised that this type of Incident will never happen again in Igangan.
