The political environment in Osun State is currently charged. The electorates in the State will file out to the polls to elect their governor for the next four years in some months to come.

Some Political parties have already fixed dates for primaries to pick their flag-bearers in the election. These are essentially the front line parties in the contest: the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP). Accord Party (AP) among others.

Meanwhile, close watchers strongly believes that these four political are the major contestants in the governorship race.
As the date draws near, observers are making predictions on who could emerge for each party as candidate. Certainly the integrity and capacity of each aspirant will be the highest consideration by the respective political parties in making or choosing a candidates. This is because the integrity of the candidate will determine the chances of any party carrying the day in the election.
The political platform will place a secondary role in the direction the electorate will cast their votes.

There is urgent need for incoming government to ensure policy sustainability of the policy on smart cities when fully implemented.

Continuity will, when it is entrenched in the system will assure investors of the security of their investments on the smart city plan. “A situation where one administration or government official will start a programme and then he leaves office that is the end of that project or programme will not augur well with the smart cities initiative.’’
“Apart from the assurance of continuity of projects, there must be some detailed documentation that nobody will come tomorrow to cancel the projects.”
Political administration dichotomy itself does not appear to have a known inventory.
After exhaustive research, the combination of words that make up the definition of politics can not be fully analyzed without emphasizing on its peculiar nature as its relates to its Pennsylvania and pendulum nature. In actual sense, political party is one of the most important areas in our society and the very integrity that binds us together which teaches Christians and Muslims to demonstrate love, sanctity to people.

In short, how can Christians or Muslim claim to care about others and not engage the arena that most profoundly shapes basic rights and freedoms? Caring for the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and displaced people is imperative according to call of God. It is no longer a secret that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola would be going down in history as a man who fought with all the might and energy in him to become the governor of Osun State. He did all within himself to ensure he leave several legacies to the best of his abilities which he will be remembered for where he is no longer the governor of the state of Osun. To many who rate performance by the orchestrated and noise about salaries among others have negative impression that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola did nothing in his 8 years in office as the masses friendly governor of Osun state.

Government is indeed committed to fulfilling all financial obligations when the state’s economy improves.
What Aregbesola has done in the last eight years is worthy of note and indelible as Osun in the next three to four decades will continue to savour what this man has been able to do. His successor will not have to reconstruct the roads, schools, bridges and other infrastructural projects he has done, they will have no other option than to build on the Existing Legacies and Mirror In the Future.
