Spread the love

As we all know that the 2023 Nigeria presidential election is fast approaching, and different candidates from different parties have declared their intentions, while a lot of Nigerians are beginning to show interest for the candidate of their choice.

However, in a recent video that was released by AIT News, the popular Nigerian Bishop, former president of Christian Association of Nigeria, and president of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, John Olurunfemi Onaiyekan has made it known that,

“I only have one voter’s card and by God’s grace, I will use it. I will definitely not vote for a Muslim/Muslim ticket. That is my decision”.

However, reacting to the video, the Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufi said that:

“Absolutely!

With the Nigeria we have today it is injustice to vote a Muslim, Muslim ticket as it will be injustice to vote a Christian, Christian ticket.

We must do things that are just and equitable!”
