Since the day when OBJ released his explosive letter to President Buhari many of his critics have gone to the archives bringing out his past for public scrutiny.

Why are we crying more than the bereaved? We can give others knocks but we cannot tolerate others’ criticisms. Why?

The APC and the Federal Government to whom the message was meant has responded in a matured way that is historic and unusual of any government in power to respond in such a polite manner in history.

The credit goes to President Muhammadu Buhari who knows the place of the former President Obasanjo in history. Go to the right or left, front or back Chief Obasanjo is there, then why the insults. He is a statesman known globally.

The President still have enough time before the next election to work on his weaknesses pointed out by OBJ that no one has the courage to tell him.
Praise singers will only push him to the ditch like they did to Goodluck Jonathan and back out on him later.

The best friend PMB has today is Chief Obasanjo not those who thronged Aso Rock urging the President to continue when the country is still swimming in blood and in a state of unrest.

When I was to be sent forth from my former place of work, I specifically told my colleagues not to praise me but to tell me know my area of weaknesses so that I can work on it to become a good ambassador to the organization in future.

It was a blunt send forth for me. I recorded it, I watched and listen to it from time to time.
You can never be a good leader if you cannot tolerate others.

What I expected from those carpeting OBJ is to ask, what went wrong? Was it not the same man who in 2014 tactically campaigned for APC? He was a good man then but today we can take him to the cleaners because he voiced out.

The real enemies are within giving PMB sleepless nights.

The Senate had refused to confirm the President’s appointees just because of a lone ranger, Ibrahim Magu who is ready to lay down his life fighting corruption. They wanted him out at all costs. A conspiracy of the highest order against the noblest achievements of President Buhari’s administration.

No one is talking about 2018 budget submitted to the National Assembly since last year November by the President. No one is talking about senseless killings in the land.

These are the issues that should be of concern to us.
President Buhari has turned things around for good given the mess he met on ground. But he needs to leave the service lane to the fast lane for his name to be in gold within the shortest time he has in his first term.

As a father, I will advise PMB to leave the stage when the ovation is loudest for somebody who will continue from where he will stop. We should forget about the character of Chief Obasanjo and dwell more on the message NOT the messenger. History will do that at the appropriate time.
Let us take the substance in Obasanjo’s statement and discard the irrelevant one like Coalition of Nigeria Movement (CNM).
Nigeria shall be great again!
