March 10, 2018 will continue to ring bell in the lives of Hon. Rotimi Makinde who was formally installed with a chieftaincy title along with his Queen Mrs. Makinde as Bobajiro and Yeye Bobajiro by the Timi of Ede Land, HRM Oba Dr, Munirudeen Adesola Lawal (Laminisa One) on the occasion of his 10th Anniversary on the throne of his fore fathers.

It was a historic occasion with the presence of Royal Fathers especially in the Yoruba Land such as Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Alaafin of Oyo, HRM Oba Lamidi Adeyemi just to mention but a few.
The Palace of Ede could not contain the mammoth crowd hence the shifting of the venue to the Osun State NYSC Orientation Camp, Ede ahead of the day.
Timi of Ede Land used the occasion of his 10th anniversary to honour other Nollywood actor among whom was Femi Branch as Jagun of Ede Land.

Wasiu Ayinde aka K1 De Ultimate was on hand to add colour to the special event.
The new Chief Bobajiro and Yeye Bobajiro of Ede Land, Chief and Chief Mrs. Rotimi Makinde hosted their guests at his Maiyegun Country Home, Opposite Diganga Hotel, Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife.
On band stand was Fatai Akanbi Valentine (Olorin Oba) with ‘who is who’ in the theatre industry which includes, Fala, Princess Lanko Omo Oba Dubai, Bimbo Akinsanya, Jinadu Ewele among others.
Among political bigwigs present were, Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor, Chief Gboyega Oyetola, Senator Omoworare, Kola Adebisi (Publisher of Osun Defender) and many other important dignitaries.

It was a day never to be forgotten easily from Ede to Ile-Ife where Chief Makinde hosted his guests.
