About Affirm

Affirm gives people a clear, predictable way to pay over time, with no hidden fees, no surprises, and no tradeoffs on what matters most.

About the team

The Product Marketing team works to understand customers and the market, then turns what it learns into product recommendations and focused go-to-market strategies. It connects Product, Analytics, Revenue, and Marketing, and it makes complex products easy for merchants and consumers to understand.

About the role

You will own the strategy and systems that drive product marketing excellence across Affirm’s B2B organization. You will synthesize merchant, consumer, market, and performance insights to shape shared strategy, strengthen the merchant narrative, and guide product and go-to-market investments. You will also lead a focused set of ambiguous cross-portfolio opportunities from discovery through commercialization. This senior individual contributor role raises the quality, consistency, and impact of the broader team.

What you’ll do

  • Own the portfolio narrative: develop the merchant story, messaging architecture, and proof points, and activate them across priority merchant channels.
  • Connect product and GTM teams: set operating rhythms for planning, forecasting, launches, and strategic client opportunities.
  • Equip Revenue teams: work with Revenue Enablement to turn the narrative into messaging, tools, and training.
  • Lead Voice of the Merchant: run the Client Advisory Board and merchant feedback loops, and turn insights into product priorities.
  • Lead critical initiatives: own high-priority opportunities such as platform partnerships or new market launches.
  • Carry the culture: build trust across functions and coach others to do their best work.

What we’re looking for

  • 12+ years in product marketing, product strategy, or a related field, with depth in B2B payments, fintech, commerce, or platforms.
  • A track record of setting strategic direction and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling that connects complex products into a clear narrative for senior leaders, merchants, and partners.
  • Exceptional strategic and business judgment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across Product, Revenue, Partnerships, Analytics, and Marketing.
  • Self-serve analytical skills, including SQL, dashboards, and AI-assisted analysis.
  • High AI fluency, with a record of improving the speed and quality of work for yourself and others.
  • Experience building reusable frameworks for segmentation, go-to-market planning, launches, and measurement.

Compensation

US base pay is $220,000 – $280,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT, and $195,000 – $255,000 in all other states. Total compensation may include equity, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech, and fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
