Another Yoruba Nollywood star actor, Abu Rasheed is dead.

The announcement of the death of the star actor was made by one of his colleagues, Ibrahim Chatta, who regretted he did not honour his invitation to work in his new film.

According to Chatta, “I remember you running after me and moving around me at Alhaji Hassan Taiwo Ogogo’s birthday party. You called recently to invite me for your job. And I said to you that I had stopped working, now I wished I had said yes. Ah, se o ti wa tan na niyen?”

The Nollywood source who spoke to us via email today said the actor had serious flu like and asthma symptoms on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before he succumbed to the condition around 1pm on Wednesday the 15th of April 2020.

His death has been confirmed by TAMPAN President, Bolaji Amusan.
