He was declared the winner of the election into the Senate Presidency on Tuesday, beating his rival, former Governor Abdulaziz Yari.

  1. We’re not practicing democracy in this country. What we’re saying is that we embrace Dem-all-crazy systems of government. Recall that not too long ago, the senate embarrassed the nation with a shouting match between senate committee on NDDC and Akpabio board members, serious allegations were made by the CEO of NDDC against the recently selected senate president being the minister for NDDC. The sitting of the Senate committee investigating NDDC malpractices ended with a shouting match “ It’s okay, that’s alright, off your mic” till the 9th assembly session comes to a close. The Senate committee on NDDC has not submitted any report either priliminary or substantive findings so far. The apc Selective machine picks Akpabio as the 10th Senate president is worrisome to say the least.
