His death was reported by the Heritage Multimedia TV on Saturday, May 2, 2020 on their Facebook Page in a terse statement, “So sad RIP to the veteran OGUN MAJEK.”

Three days ago, SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS reported the critical health condition of ‘Ogun Majek’ and his call for urgent financial assistance.

“The health of a popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu aka Ogun Majek has worsened, he is crying for financial assistance from any good Samaritans.

Ogun Majek’s appeal and call for financial assistance over his current poor state of health was contained in a message issued by one of his sons, Akinpelu Akeem Abidemi, SOJ WORLDWIDE reported.
