UPDATE Sporadic gunshots in front of ILERI-OLUWA Next Level (INLPM), Oranmiyan House, Osogbo (INSIDE STORY)

There was Sporadic gunshots in front of ILERI-OLUWA Next Level Progressives Movement (INLPM) and Oranmiyan House at a popular ‘Aregbe’ Bus Stop along Gbongan Road, Osogbo yesterday afternoon at about 2.00pm.

The incident led to commotion among market women and Okada Riders at the Bus Stop. Our findings revealed that the thugs came purposely to disperse an ongoing meeting at the Oranmiyan House by a faction in the ruling APC in Osun, The Osun Progressives (TOP). 

Many people are unaware that there are two ILERI-OLUWA offices along Gbongan road, the main office is situated at Ogo-Oluwa while ILERI-OLUWA Next Level Progressive Movement (INLPM) is on the First Floor after O’Yes office beside Oranmiyan House where the incident occured.

A reliable source told SOJ WORLDWIDE that when the thugs came, those shooting into the air were stationed at the bus stop while those with cutlasses entered into Oranmiyan House to attack TOP members who were in their weekly meeting. 

Our source said those who had minor injuries was as a result of the stampede that ensued otherwise no one was wounded.

The Coordinator of the movement, Hon Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA) and other members who were in the office at the time were not hurt.

Although, the gunshots scared away those who were in the office of ILERI-OLUWA Next Level Progressive Movement which is a second building to Oranmiyan House where the incident occured.

Our source said the operation did not last more than five minutes.

TOP is a factional group within the ruling APC loyal to the former Governor who is now the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’.
