The Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, the State of Osun has sacked the Peoples Democratic Party House of Representatives candidate, Bamidele Salam and ordered a rerun of elections in Ede, Ejigbo, and Egbedore Federal Constituency

The tribunal had in its ruling canceled some units in Ede South, Ede North, Ejigbo and Egbedore as a result of over-voting.

Adejare Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had challenged the declaration of Bamidele  Salam (PDP) as the winner of the election.
