Nigerian popular actress, Sadiya Haruna has been sentenced to six months imprisonment by a Magistrate court in Kano over defamatory attacks on a fellow Kannywood actor, Isa A. Isa.

Ms Haruna was charged with defaming Isa in a video and posting same on her Social Media Page..
Reading his judgement, Justice Muntari Dandago, said he found the actress guilty on all counts against her.
The actress had in a viral video, accused Isa of being a homosexual and an unrepentant womanizer.
Sadiya Haruna alleged in the viral Instagram post that Isa demanded anal sex from her.
The Judge further ruled that if Ms Haruna continues to defame Isa, she would end up spending three years in prison.
Ms Haruna, who was first arraigned before the court on October 16, 2019 on charges of defamation, has up to three months to appeal the judgement.
