Real Madrid star, Thibaut Courtois has said that former club, Chelsea were of lower standard to his current club after making his first appearance for the La Liga giants at the weekend.
The Belgium first choice goalkeeper completed a move from Chelsea to the La Liga giants in August.
However, his departure led Chelsea into signing Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao in a record deal as his replacement.
“In training, you see that the level at Real Madrid is high,†Metro UK quoted the goalkeeper as saying.
“I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Ramos is the best centre-back in the world. The level at Real Madrid is higher than at Chelsea.â€
In Courtois absence, the Blues have won all four of their Premier League games so far.
