Davido: Just a while after INEC announced the results for Ayedaade LGA, the PDP raised an alarm, calls for result recheck Â
Davido and The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) questioned the authenticity of the results issued by INEC in the Ayedaade Local Government Area.
INEC results showed APC having a total number of 10861 votes and PDP having a total number of 9836 votes.
Davido, raise an uproar on twitter that the PDP result in the LGA was 10836 votes instead of 9836 votes as announced by INEC. Few minutes later, a PDP agent called the attention of the Officer in charge of the collation to the error.
The Electoral officer then asked the PDP agents, other party agents and the collation officer in charge of the Local Government to sit together and compare the results from all the wards in the Local Government.
Alas, after they had calculated it all over again, it was realized that the INEC result was the authentic.
As at the time of this report, the winner is yet to be announced as INEC has not finished announcing all the LGA results.
It is hoped that Davido is satisfied.
