ANOTHER fast rising Nollywood Star Ridwan Olamilekan Ajileye is dead.

The cause of his death was not known as at the time of filing this report.

The message of his death was announced on the Instagram page of Afadapakiro on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Ridwan was the son of famous Yoruba actor Alhaji Yekini Ajileye who was the darling of Television viewers in the 1980’s.

“THE SUDDEN CALL OF DESTINY.

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and unexpected demise of Ajileye Ridwan Olamilekan.

His passing has come as a rude shock to family, friends, colleagues, and the community at large.

Olamilekan was a vibrant, promising young man whose life was filled with potential, but the cold hands of death have taken him away far too soon.

The untimely death of young people has continued to give us great concern.

Many are left asking painful questions, and some live in fear of what tomorrow may bring.

It is indeed worrisome that lives so full of promise are being cut short, leaving behind sorrowful families and grieving communities.

In times like this, we are reminded of the reality of life and death, and the need to live with faith and compassion.

We take solace in Almighty Allah, who gives and takes life, and whose wisdom surpasses human understanding.

We pray that Almighty Allah forgives all of Olamilekan’s shortcomings, accepts his return with mercy, and grants him a peaceful rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.

May Allah console his parents, siblings, and loved ones, and give them the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
