Barrister David Aigbefor granted an interview with Sahara Reporters as he narrates how he was able to protect his family from 5 Kidnappers who broke into his home at night, fully armed with Ak-47 riffles.

Narrating how the incident happened, Barr. David Aigbefor narrates that the suspected kidnappers broke into his residence with highly-sophisticated weapon that they used to break his gate, break his door and finally made their ways into his house. David Aigbefor says that the gunmen were shooting sporadically on his door, window, wall and other places in his house.
His main door was a security door but the gunmen were able to break through. Due to the shooting, he was already aware of the invasion, so he had prepared himself to confront these gunmen. According to him, he says that he did not know where he got the confidence to confront them but, what he knew was that he was ready to sacrifice his life rather than the gunmen to hurt his wife and children.

So, he grabbed the only weapon he had which was a Machete and he laid an ambush for the gunmen right behind the door. When the first one pushed the door and tried to enter with his gun, Barr. David wielded his cutlass and cut him from where he was hiding behind the door. He went down immediately and started crawling outside to meet his accomplices. He left his blood on the wall and chair before he managed to go outside.

Normally, the instinct of the others who were still outside when they saw one of them brutally injured like that would be that the Barrister had deadlier weapons or assistance in his house, so they could not just rushed inside like that. Unfortunately for them, while they were still contemplating, they heard the sound of the Vigilante and Police who noticed the activity going on the building. It was the security operatives that later scared them off.
This was how Barrister David Aigbefor became the hero of his family and saved them from the gunmen with only cutlass.

While some people argue on the internet that there is more to the story about how Barr David was able to confront the kidnapper who was armed with AK-47 with ordinary Cutlass, others praised him for his act of bravery and protecting his family at all cost no matter how he might have been able to do it.
Some people said the incident makes it look like Barr. David is fortified but during his interview, he said it was only by the Grace of God and he did that because he desperately wanted to protect his wife and children from the gunmen.
