Five students of Isolo Senior Secondary School have been suspended by their principal for putting on the hijab to school, on Wednesday, in Lagos.
The principal, Mrs. J O Sadare, had on Friday announced that students should not wear hijab to school.
After the announcement on Friday, some of the students did same to school on Monday. However, they were given a letter to come with their parents on Tuesday.
When the students got to the school with their parents, the parents insisted their wards put on hijad to school. This, however, caused the Principal to be annoyed and as a result, walked them out of her office.
