The former House of Representatives member, Founder of Oodua (90.9FM), Ile-Ife, Hon. Rotimi Makinde is coming out in a big way in a surprise epic movie. Although, Hon. Makinde is a renowned politician, the first to blaze the trail in transforming from an actor to become Honourable member of the House of Representatives, he is also a businessman.

He is a man of many parts ranging from being a popular actor to being a script writer and a prolific writer on the State of the Nation.
He had once left the movie industry for politics which he is still very active, his fans in movie industry across the globe would not stop pressurising him that he is still needed.
As he prepared to declare his next intention in politics very soon and also preparing for his installation as an High Chief, the Bobajiroro of Ede land on March 10, 2018 by the Timi of Ede Land, HRM Oba Dr, Munirudeen Adesola Lawal (Laminisa One), at the Ede Palace, his future looks brighter than ever.

He said he still holds his root in high esteem hence his desire to satisfy the yearnings of his fans.
In his words, Hon, Makinde (Chief Maiyegun) said, “To correct the negative impression generating controversy and to register the fact that I still hold the entertainment industry and indeed he Nollywood in high esteem.’’
‘’I have decided to satisfy the yearning desires of my fans and public by featuring in this epic movie. The title is still under wraps but I can assure the public that it will bring out the best in me as usual.’’
‘’I am in politics for now but i shall not jettison the very industry that produced me as the first artist to be so elected as a Legislator in that category of the House of Representatives.”
