The spokesman, Kazeem Afegbua to the former military Head of State, President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) has been declared wanted by the police.
He was declared wanted by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris over the statement he allegedly issued on behalf of President Babangida.

He ordered the arrest of Afegbua for “making false statements, defamation of character, and for an act capable of instigating public disturbance,†the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood said in a statement on Monday night.
It read, “The IGP has ordered the arrest of Kashim Afegbua for making false statements, defamation of character and for an act capable of instigating public disturbance throughout the country.
“He is therefore declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force and should report at the nearest police station anywhere he is in the country.â€
