IN a coordinated attacks, the Nigerian troops have eliminated over 10 Boko Haram terrorists including their commanders in the Northeast.

 

In a Press Release on the official x.com Page of the Nigerian Army monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, the army said apart from eliminating the terrorists, their weapons were also recovered and destroyed.

Joint troops of Operation Fasan Yamma eliminated 10 terrorists in a well-coordinated, deadly attack on the outlaws’ locations at Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Gusau LGA, and Munhaye in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State today, June 9, 2025. The operation resulted in the recovery of several arms and ammunition, and the destruction of 5 terrorist-owned motorcycles in-situ.”

In a separate attacks, the Nigerian Troops reportedly launched air and ground attacks on Boko Haram strongholds in two Local Governments and others in the Northeast with casualties recorded and recovery of arms and ammunition.

In the early hours of today, June 9, 2025, troops of Operation Hadin Kai launched simultaneous air and ground attacks on Boko Haram/ISWAP strongholds in Nzalgana, Gujba LGA, and the Tumbuktu Triangle, resulting in significant casualties among terrorists and their leaders.”

Notably, Ameer Malam Jidda, a top commander in Ngorgore and Malumti Villages, was neutralized. Meanwhile, in Abadam, additional bodies of terrorists and seized weapons were recovered following the recent military operation in Mallamfatori.”
