A young graduate has issued a heart-wrenching appeal after her father was reportedly abducted on his way back to Abuja from her convocation ceremony at FUTA.
According to her posts on X, N10 million ransom is being demanded, and the father is said to have been tied up and tortured since the incident.
In a shared audio clip, his distressed voice pleads for swift action.

The daughter revealed she has set up a crowdfunding campaign at GTBank (account 0278738426) and is imploring those who can to support them.
Her public cry for help has sparked an outpouring of concern and prayers across social media, with many calling on authorities to intervene urgently.
Despite the viral attention, there is no publicly confirmed response yet from security agencies or government officials.

This troubling abduction comes amid heightened alarm over kidnapping networks in Kogi State, particularly around Kabba/Bunu, where authorities recently identified collaborators supplying kidnapped victims with food, fuel, water and shelter.
