Man narrates how he risked his life to save his twin babies

I guessed you will be wondering why my face looked  like this. Well, I had to rescue our babies from a fire incident.

I closed from work that very faithful day, passed by the supermarket to get some stuff for my daughters completely clueless about the coming danger my kids were getting into. My wife had accidentally left the stove on, which caused the fire.

Next thing I got was a call from home – my heart started beating fast. Luckily, I was almost home. When I got there, the first thing I asked was about my kids, because that was my main fear – if my babies were alright.

My wife had called the Phoenix Fire Department, and they were on their way, but the kids were still inside. Everyone was just standing there looking. My thoughts were on my kids; my heart just couldn’t take it.

My mind tried to imagine what my little twins might be going through in that fire – it was unbearable. My wife stood next to me, crying heavily. I asked her where exactly the babies were and if she was very sure – she directed me.

I told her I was going to save my babies. She tried to stop me, but my mind was made up. I removed my clothes, poured water on my body to keep me wet, and burst into the door.

There was complete darkness; I got to a point where I couldn’t even breathe properly. Luckily, I didn’t need to open my eyes because I know my way around the house.

My kids were in their room crying nonstop – luckily the fire hadn’t gotten to them yet, just a little smoke. I took them, covered them with a wet blanket, & carried them close to my chest.

When I turned to leave, the f!re had increased, blocking every door. But God came through for me – I still made my way through, ran into the f!re, and got out of the building.

My babies were untouched, no scratch of f!re on their bodies. I was uncons.cious for two days and in a coma but later woke up. With my face like this. Actually, I have no regrets. My kids are safe a sound. They’re my priority. Please, forget about my face.
