Munkaila Ahmadu, a 37-year-old man who was arrested on Thursday after he used a pestle to kill his parents and wound two others, has spoken about what motivated him to do it.
While being detained by the police on Saturday, 3rd September 2022. Mr Ahmadu spoke in a recorded video that was provided with Premium Occasions On-line Newspaper that he had killed his mother, Ahmad Hauwa, and his village head, Ahmad Muhammad, because they had spoken blasphemously about the Prophet Muhammad.
The suspect continued by saying that he was assured his actions have been applicable in God’s eyes.

HE SAID,
“I killed them as a result of they mistreated the prophet, and their punishment is dying, there is no such thing as a alternative for repentance for anybody who mistreated the Prophet,” he declared. I don’t concern about what I did. I’m presently being held by the police due to, it doesn’t matter what human reasoning would have me take into consideration, what I did was right in God and the Prophet’s eyes.
Mr. Ahmadu continued by revealing that though his dad and mom had on no account given him monetary help, he was a reward singer for the Prophet Muhammad. He claimed that his mom warned residents of the shut by villages to not settle for him, whereas his father referred to him as “loopy.”
