JUST IN: APC loses a prominent leader

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost one its prominent leader, Alhaji Sulaimon Aderibigbe in Ede, Osun State on Thursday morning after a brief illness.

He was 70 years old.

Also died at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

Until his death, he was one of the pillars of the ruling party in Ede and a member of the APC Elders caucus in the State. He was the pioneer Chairman of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) in Osun State.

Alao celebrated his 70th birthday last weekend at Western Sun Hotel in Ede but fell sick days after.

He will be buried today according to Islamic rites.
