Five Dare devil armed robbers’ attacked WEMA Bank Plc and unnamed community bank in Okuku killing two people and several persons sustained various degree on injuries.
The robbers attacked the two banks in Okuku Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State carting away unspecified amount of cash.

The Public Relations Officer in Osun, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the robbery attack.
She said, “The Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode led team of Mobile Police to the scene.”
The residents protested the delay of the Osun State Police to attend to their distressed calls.
“The police did not come until after one hour after the robbery”, an eyewitness said.
