JUST IN: Explosion Rocks NNPC Pipeline At Abule-Egba, Lagos

Reports just reaching SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS had it that there was pipeline explosions at the NNPC Pipeline around Ile-,Epo in Abule Egba area of Lagos State

Several properties were said to have been consumed.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the inferno was as a result of pipeline vandals who bursted one of the oil pipelines in the area to siphon the product.

As at the time of filing this report, two fire service tankers are on ground at the scene to curb the fire from escalating further into the densely populated residential areas within the community.

Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Amodu, who confirmed the incident, said there was no casualty at press time.
