BEFORE the maximum leader of Libya was killed on October 20, 2011, he made a powerful statement that is trailing Libya and African continent till day.

The question to ask is, do the West comprising the United States, United Kingdom and other countries really liked or loved us? The answer is no?  Who are those sponsoring insurgents in Africa? Who are those selling arms and ammunition to the rebels to overthrow developing countries. The answer is not far fetched.

Our destiny is in our hands, do not help to destroy your country thinking the United States or United Kingdom will come to our rescue.

We were under that illusion when the military annulled the best election ever held in Nigeria.

We never knew that the United States was fighting for their own economic interests until we fell flat.

Ukraine is in ruin today because President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was under the illusion that the West will overrun Russia for him in few days.

They pretended to be a full force behind him since February 22, 2022, the war is getting more fierce till today.

Where are those pledging to supply war equipments?  If Ukraine had known this would be the end result, it would not have ventured into the senseless war.

This should be a sound warning to Nigeria and other African countries.

Gaddafi may have had his own shortcomings but where is Libya today? The war turn country can never be the same again!
