UPDATE! ONDO DECIDES: Contending Force In Ondo, Eyitayo Jegede Picks PDP Expression/Nomination Forms – SEE PHOTOS

Former Peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate in the last Ondo State governorship election, Mr Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) has obtained his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to slug it out with the incumbent governor of the state, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu.

The form was presented to Jegede on Tuesday in a short ceremony by the PDP leaders.

“Ondo 2020: Eyitayo Jegede, former @OfficialPDPNig Guber Candidate in Ondo state, picking his expression of interest and nomination forms.”

Meanwhile, the Eyitayo Youths and Students Movement in Ondo State expressed their confidence in their candidate winning the November governorship elections considering his superlative performance’s in the last election despite all obstacles posed in his ways.

“PDP is stronger than ever, no Factions No Jimoh Ibrahim spoiler game. Eyitayo came second with all those obstacles even though he has 72hours to election. Now we are back and Stronger… Ondo is PDP”

In his response after the collection the necessary forms, Jegede said in his official  Twitter Page monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS,

“Yesterday Tuesday, the 9th of June, 2020, we were well received at the National Secretariat of @OfficialPDPNig, Wadata Plaza in Abuja.”

“In obedience to the directives of @OfficialPDPNig, I collected the expression of interest & nomination forms for gubernatorial primary election, upon fulfilment of the conditions laid down by our great party, the completed forms will be returned in due course after completion.”
