Ondo Workers Donate 30 Motorcycles To Amotekun Corps

Ondo state governor , Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has reiterated his administration’s commitment at ensuring safety of lives and property of the citizens.

The Governor gave the assurance while receiving thirty new motorcycles donated to the Ondo state security Network, AMOTEKUN Corps by the Ondo State workers through the joint negotiating council JNC in Akure.

Represented by the special adviser on union matters Mr Dare Aragbaye , Governor Akeredolu appreciated Ondo state workers for the gesture calling on other notable organizations and individuals to do same.

JNC Chairman, Comrade Oluwaniyi Fabunmi said the initiative was to assist government in the effort at making the state crime free.

Also speaking, NLC Chairman, Ondo State, Comrade Sunday Adeleye noted that the donation was not to lobby the state government but to motivate AMOTEKUN corps in providing adequate security.

In a remark , AMOTEKUN Commandant , Chief Adetunji Adeleye disclosed that the motorcycles would be used judiciously.

Mr Adeleye also announced that about six hundred of his men had been deployed across the state ahead of the easter celebration.
