Osun Government Appoints New Accountant General

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has approved the appointment of Rasheed Olalere Alabi as the new Accountant General of the state.

The appointment which will take effect from May, 21, 2022, is consequent upon the voluntary retirement of the incumbent Accountant General, Moses Sunday Igbaroola, from the Civil Service on the attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.

The announcement of the appointment was contained in a statement signed by Leye Aina, Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office on behalf of the Head Of Service of Osun State.

The new Accountant General, Rasheed Olalere Alabi, before his appointment is the Director, Treasury and Pension Services, Office of the Accountant General.

Similarly, the governor has equally approved the appointment of Taiwo Temilade Adeagbo as the Executive Secretary of the newly established Osun State Senior Secondary Schools Education Board.

Adeagbo is the current the Director, Public Schools, Osun State Ministry of Education.
